Private NYC Walking Tour of the Brooklyn Bridge
The story of this bridge is incredible. The engineering, the beauty, the determination of an incredibly stubborn family to get this job done and the sacrifices they made is a story that I love to tell.

Get a look at the most famous bridge in the world that few people, even lifelong New Yorkers, fail to recognize
t was on this bridge that I realized that I took this city for granted. I stopped in the middle and just looked around and took in the view. Someone said to me “Beautiful, ain’t it?” and I said “Yes, it is and I have been taking it for granted my entire life. Now, every time I am on the Brooklyn Bridge, it is as if I am there for the first time. I am struck at how beautiful it is, the sweep of the cables and the pattern they make. And each time I am also reminded of what it took to build it. The story of the most famous bridge in the world is incredible. The engineering, the beauty, the determination of an incredibly stubborn family to get this job done and the sacrifices they made is a story that I love to tell.
The Brooklyn Bridge, built by two great cities, out of the necessities demanded by a surging metropolis, to be linked together without the forces of nature posing any sort of obstacle. The bridge is the pinnacle of late 19th-century engineering and design. Once upon a time, the Brooklyn Bridge was called “The Eighth Wonder of the World”.
